Mission Statement & Goals

The Maroon Library at Champaign Central High School (Unit 4) is committed to providing equitable access to all students and staff and to ensure they are effective users of ideas and information. Our policies and procedures are put in place to benefit all patrons. Our primary goals are to:

  • Connect with students by maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Create a collection that reflects our students, their interests and learning needs
  • Collaborate with staff across disciplines to promote
    • critical thinking skills
    • skillful researchers
    • lifelong readers
