Author Spotlight: Neal Shusterman

Each week we will highlight a different author that your should know from our library collection.

This week’s author is Neal Shusterman.

Neal Shusterman is an author, screenwriter and television writer. We have a large collection of his books available at the Maroon Library. Sophomores get a chance to read his book, Unwind during their Dystopia unit in English class. Many of his books have made it on ALA best books and his book, Challenger Deep won the National Book Award. His books are eerily realistic with some dystopia and fantastical elements. Author Spotlight : Toni Morrison

Each week we will highlight a different author that your should know from our library collection.

This week’s author is Toni Morrison.

Toni Morrison was an author, book editor and professor. Her book, Beloved won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 1988. She was the first African-American woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature for novels that give “life to an essential aspect of American reality.”  Ms. Morrison passed away August 5th, 2019. We have a collection of her books, here at the Maroon Library. Check one out and learn more about this amazing author.
